The Society would like to thank INAC and Rowes Construction for the successful backhaul of a jaw crusher from the Hidden Lake gold mine recently. The Hidden Lake mine was in sporadic operation from 1940 to the 1960s. It was cleaned up by the government last summer and the waste was backhauled into Yellowknife this month. The Society had identified the jaw crusher as an item to add to its mining heritage collection. It will make a wonderful addition to our outdoor display!
